If you are using latest software & ui of Xiaomi MIUI 12 then you can install in MIUi 12 but you still using MIUI 11 then you can also install on it.

- Firsly you have to Unlock Bootloader,
- Before Unlock Bootloader you have to do,,
How to install POCO M2 Pro TWRP
get the tool & extract it (POCO M2 Pro TWRP Tool Link is giving in description)
firstly Open CMD through location or PowerShell,
then you have to enter in fastboot mode (Power + Volume Down)
After that connect with Data Cable.
Now just open cmd through location & PowerShell,
then type here fastboot devices & hit enter (after hitting enter showing a code)
then type here fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (Now hit Enter & flashed successfully in POCO M2 Pro TWRP)
Now Open TWRP mode (Power + Volume Up Button)
